From El Salvador to the World: ITProject41's Impact at MWC Barcelona 2026 and 4YFN

If we had to describe Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in a single sentence, it would be: "the epicenter where the future happens today." For an intense week in Barcelona, the brightest minds in global technology gathered to define the next steps in connectivity, artificial intelligence, and the digital ecosystem. And amidst that ocean of innovation, ITProject41 was present with a clear message: Technology made in El Salvador.
Our participation in the world's largest connectivity event marked a historic milestone for our Software Factory. We went with the mission of building technological bridges between Europe and Latin America, and the results exceeded our projections.
THE EXPERIENCE: SURVIVING THE TECH "BIG APPLE"
Arriving at MWC is like walking through the streets of New York at rush hour. With over 100,000 attendees, endless aisles, and meticulously planned schedules, the visual noise is overwhelming. Our initial expectation was to generate organic connections through our visual identity and brand presence, but the reality of the event quickly taught us a strategic lesson: in the big leagues, the key isn't grabbing attention, it's providing immediate solutions to critical pain points. We shifted our approach from a "visual" stance to a purely consultative one. When we stopped talking about ourselves and started asking CTOs and agency leaders how they were dealing with the developer shortage in Europe, the magic happened.
THE GLOBAL PROBLEM AND OUR SOLUTION: FLEXIBLE TEAMS
At MWC, we saw that mobile technology, 5G, and IoT are just the tip of the iceberg. For all of this to work, a robust backend infrastructure, complex integrations, and constant maintenance are required. However, Europe and the world face a shortage of technical talent and high operating costs.
That's where ITProject41 fit perfectly as the puzzle piece many were looking for. We presented our Nearshoring and Flexible Teams model, highlighting three pillars:
IT Staff Augmentation: Senior talent from El Salvador integrated into the same time zone as global companies.
Custom Software Development: Technical quality with the highest security standards (Compliance).
Hyperautomation: Use of tools like n8n to optimize operations and reduce costs by up to 30%.
MARKET INTELLIGENCE: WHERE ARE WE HEADED?
Beyond prospecting, MWC served as a real-time market intelligence lab. We confirmed that global trends are moving away from rigid corporate structures. Today, the global standard demands agility: on-demand work cells, operational automation by default, and borderless talent. This is the vision we are already implementing and adapting for our clients in Central and North America.
TANGIBLE RESULTS AND ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
We returned home with a full agenda and accomplished goals. We successfully consolidated over 100 high-value B2B leads that are now in our conversion funnel.
Among the day's most notable achievements were the progress toward signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for a commercial alliance with Coderland (positioning us as their technology implementation arm), and the scheduling of Discovery meetings with disruptive companies.
Furthermore, we had the honor of meeting and exchanging views with the Ambassador of El Salvador to Spain, opening doors for future institutional collaborations in the Iberian market.
Taking this international leap would not have been possible without the support of strategic partners who believe in the potential of our region. We extend our deepest gratitude to the International Trade Centre (ITC), the Ilamatepec Project, and the European Union. Their vision and support are the driving force that allows Salvadoran companies like ours to compete and win on the world's biggest stages.
THE FUTURE HAS ALREADY BEGUN
MWC 2026 was just the beginning. ITProject41 is already playing in the big leagues; we have the experience, the relationships, and the technical expertise to prove that borders don't exist when it comes to well-written code.
